Air movers: These powerful machines blow air over a damp surface and hasten the process of water evaporation (and therefore drying). They greatly decrease drying time, helping carpets and wall cavities dry safer.
Air scrubbers: These Filtration systems are designed to remove particles from the air. It takes in air, passing it through a filter, and then venting the air, without impurities. The use of air scrubbers are particularly important when water damage is from water that contains toxins or biohazards.
Dehumidifiers: The process of evaporation is often slowed by the humidity level of the air a dehumidifier allows this process to proceed by lowering the humidity in the surrounding atmosphere.
Non-Penetrating Meters: This is a non-invasive system to avoid structural damage. They have a series of flat sensors on the bottom that measure the moisture levels between them. An excellent tool to compare the affected area to either a non-affected area, or a dry standard.
Thermo-Hygrometers: Thermo-hygrometers measure both the temperature and relative humidity in the air. These are excellent tools to determine how effectively dehumidifiers are working.
Disinfectants: After cleaning, these products are used to prevent the growth of bacteria and mold. This includes commercial grade disinfectants, antimicrobial solutions and antifungal applications.
